PocketDocket was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as an answer to digital fatigue. After spending years building software and staring at screens, I wanted to create something real; something you can hold, fold, and carry in your back pocket.

We rescue iconic Michigan packaging. From Jiffy Mix boxes to Faygo cartons, and upcycle them into rugged, one-of-a-kind field journals.

I know that a little bit of Michigan is with me no matter what part of the world I'm in. Every notebook is hand-cut, reinforced, and bound right here in West Michigan, turning yesterday’s recycling into today’s canvas.
